Everyone was using the same samples
One thing that is often overlooked in the 'Golden Age' is that a lot of groups used the same loops and breaks in a variety of different ways, with the exception of a few (respect to Diamond D and Pete Rock). This was not a big deal back then and if a track had flavour that was all we needed. A few producers have now gone back to some of these samples but the feeling of that era has gone, it was an almost innocent and exciting time for hip hop a music that was still being molded into what it has become today. Check out this dope track that uses the Cypress Hill sample can't remember (if you can drop a comment and the original would be good to know to is it BB King????) Anyway this is Motion Man in 1993 probably best know for his work with Kool Keith and Kutmaster Kurt, check it OUT
Boston Hip Hop with a Japanese flavour

It's smoother than the regular Insight tracks we are used to, on a more summer smooth tip.
CHECK it anyhow.

The UK's Mr Parker

An early offering from one of the most talented on the mic and boards in the UK. This was an independent release from the MC/Producer who now produces for Ghostface and many other dope MC's. Check it HERE
1st Stop The Birthplace Of Hip Hop
Thought this was a good place to start. The Bronx, represented by the hardest muthafucka on the planet, TIM DOG! Tim Dog is a powerful MC from the Ultramagnetic MC's the remixes are dope and feature Kool Kieth.
The beats on this are certainly ruff rugged and real, peep it. HERE
